Philippe Schäffner

Philippe Schäffner is a Vice President, Portfolio Operations, of KPS Capital Partners.  KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $21.8 billion of assets under management (as of June 30, 2024), focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing.

Prior to joining KPS in 2024, Mr. Schäffner was a Director Operations and Head of Launch Management at ZF Group. Previously, he led Operations and Strategy at ZF’s largest casting plant in Germany, procurement of castings in Europe, and worked in supplier development and quality. Mr. Schäffner holds a M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Saarbrücken.
