Michael Skelton

Michael Skelton is a Vice President, Portfolio Operations, of KPS Capital Partners.  KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $21.8 billion of assets under management (as of June 30, 2024), focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing.

Prior to joining KPS in 2024, Mr. Skelton was a Group Chief Financial Officer at The Riverside Company where he drove financial best practices to the Riverside Capital Appreciation Fund and provided guidance to the portfolio CFOs. Previously, he served as a senior finance professional on the operating team, providing leadership and guidance to portfolio companies. Mr. Skelton holds a M.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a former member of the United States Air Force.
