Matt Powell

Matt Powell is a Managing Director, Portfolio Operations, of KPS Capital Partners.  KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $21.8 billion of assets under management (as of June 30, 2024), focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing.

Prior to joining KPS in 2022, Mr. Powell was a Vice President Global Aluminum Business Development & Supply Chain at Alvance Group. Prior to Alvance Group, Mr. Powell was the Global Aluminium Development Director at Liberty House Group. Mr. Powell holds a B.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics from The University of Rio Grande.
