Angelo Perez

Angelo Perez is a Vice President - Finance of Portfolio Operations of KPS Mid-Cap Investments ("KPS Mid-Cap").  KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $14.9 billion of assets under management (as of December 31, 2022) focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing.

KPS Mid-Cap focuses on investments in the lower end of the middle market that require up to $100 million of initial equity capital.  KPS Mid-Cap targets the same type of investment opportunities and utilizes the same investment strategy that KPS’ flagship funds have for over two decades.

Prior to joining KPS in 2020, Mr. Perez held several operations and finance leadership roles in private equity owned companies.  He has a diverse background in finance, accounting, treasury, operations, carve-outs and restructuring across multiple industries.  Most recently, Angelo was an Operating Partner with Tenex Capital Management providing interim CFO services.  Prior to joining Tenex Capital Management, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Dynamic Machine.  Prior to joining Dynamic Machine, he was a Vice President of Portfolio Operations at Platinum Equity LLC.  Mr. Perez hold a B.S. degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Finance and Risk Management from The University of Michigan.
